...Facebook was down!

If you haven’t noticed by now, Facebook was down. It’s was down for hours. 

And you might not care. That’s okay.

But I see SO many entrepreneurs whose businesses are completely dependent on social media, including Facebook, and they don’t build other means of collecting leads, communicating with leads, making sales, and following up. 

Look, I do it too. 

I get it. 

Social media is an AMAZING tool. 

But like all tools, they’re only as good as the person who uses them and they’re great until they break.

So what do you do?

For starters (if you don’t have one already), you need a system that can do all of that for you. You need an automated system that can collect leads, follow up with leads, make sales, deliver your products and services, and can collect referrals and testimonials for you.

Second, if you want to create a community that you control, that you maintain, and that you determine when it’s “down” or not; you need a platform and system that will do all of that for you.

And Last, diversify your business in multiple ways! Make sure your business isn’t dependent on one client, one product, one service, one person, one team, etc. The only way to stay nimble in an unpredictable world is to diversify, crosstrain, expand your client base, have more than one platform or software.
